We wouldn’t be a bit surprised if Kat Graham’s name sounds very, very familiar. Dance music fans couldn’t get enough of her smash debut EP, Against the Wall, and her follow-up single, the summer anthem “Power.” Then there are the fans who sink their teeth into her super-addictive series, now in its fifth season, week after week. And those who really have been paying attention might see in her the six-year-old who starred in major commercials or the teenager who danced behind some of the biggest names in music. Oh, did we mention that she also taught herself to produce music? To call her a powerhouse is the understatement of the century! And yet, she’s among our mark. 10 to Watch because, according to her, she’s just getting started. I’m passionate about being somewhat of a renaissance woman,” Kat says, “and I hope to continue to grow in both acting and music. My biggest dream is to empower the world through my art.” Well, watch out world — here she comes!”

14 FRESH IDEAS FOR ’14

I always take the end of the year to reflect on what’s occurred over the previous 12 months before I begin to look forward to all the newness that January 1st brings. When it comes to my work life, this year I have a whole lot to revisit, mainly mark. Turning 10. From the little brand born of Avon to the beauty and fashion boutique brand that it is today, mark. Has evolved through trend after trend. This year, we began an amazing partnership with Brand Ambassador Lucy Hale. And we’ve continued to raise money (more than $1 million total so far!) to benefit programs that fight against dating abuse and partner violence. We’ve been busy, but it’s been worth every late night and hard decision. I look back—and I feel fantastic. Now, if only my holiday shopping was done!
