On November 25, 2013, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the Avon Foundation for Women launched #SeeTheSigns of Domestic Violence. #SeeTheSigns is a social media campaign to educate people daily about the signs of domestic violence during the 16 Days of Activism, a global human rights-based movement against gender violence. The campaign highlights many of the lesser-known signs of domestic abuse.

Domestic Violence & Dating Abuse Resource Guide
What everyone should know about domestic violence. This guide will provide you with information, support, and resources to use and share.

Avon Domestic Violence Survivor Empowerment Grants Program –
Open Until Friday, September 19, 4pm Eastern.
Application available for potentially new and all current Avon Foundation grantees. In 2015 the Avon Foundation for Women will continue its Avon Domestic Violence Survivor Empowerment Program for a fifth year. Eligible applicants are U.S.-based operating or developing Family Justice Centers or domestic violence agencies that offer a significant number of co-located services to victims and their families. Program Funding, Application Deadline and Grant Status Notification.

To be considered for funding, agencies must complete an online application by September 19, 4pm Eastern. Applicants will be notified of their status in December 2014; up to 25 grants (up to $65,000) will be awarded. The funding period will commence on January 1, 2015 and end on December 31, 2015.Indirect Expenses
No more than 10% of the total grant request may be allocated for indirect costs.
